Power Slap 13: Three Titles, One Wild Night

Power Slap has become one of the most intense combat sports to hit the scene — a mix of precision, composure, and raw power that’s taken over social media and left millions glued to their screens. At Power Slap 13, all that energy came to life in Las Vegas, where three championship belts were on the line. From shocking knockouts to controversial calls, every slap carried weight, and every fighter left it all on the podium.

Super Heavyweight Championship: (C) Dumpling vs. Hitman

The night kicked off with a slugfest in the Super Heavyweight division. Champion Dumpling and challenger Hitmantraded thunder for five straight rounds, each refusing to fall.

Both men landed clean, heavy shots early, with neither showing much reaction. The intensity grew as the rounds went on — Dumpling stayed composed, while Hitman’s power slaps began to find their mark. A few questionable “clubbing” calls drew gasps from the crowd, but the fight continued deep into the fifth round.

When the dust settled, the judges scored it a majority decision win for Hitman, crowning a new Super Heavyweight Champion.

Light Heavyweight Championship: (C) Wolverine vs. Rivero

The always-explosive Wolverine returned to defend his belt against Rivero in a tense back-and-forth.

Rivero came out sharp with clean shots, but Wolverine’s trademark resilience was on full display. As the rounds progressed, Rivero’s technique began to slip — and after multiple fouls for clubbing and flinching, the referee waved it off.

Wolverine retained his title by disqualification, reminding everyone why he’s one of the most unbreakable forces in the division.

Welterweight Championship: (C) Blackburn vs. Rodriguez

In the Welterweight title bout, Blackburn wasted no time setting the tone. Round after round, he landed crisp, accurate strikes that echoed through the arena. Rodriguez stayed composed early, but Blackburn’s consistency eventually broke through his defense.

By Round 4, Blackburn delivered a perfectly timed slap that ended the fight instantly — a knockout finish and a statement win for the reigning champ.

Welterweight Match: Muniz (Ontario, CA) vs. Thomas

Local favorite Muniz brought the pressure right away, connecting with a heavy slap that rocked Thomas but didn’t close the show. Thomas answered, but a foul for clubbing — followed by an injury to his hand — forced the fight to stop.

Muniz took the win by TKO (injury) in a short but action-packed matchup.

Prelims Recap

Heavyweight: Siekmann vs. Pau

A wild start to the prelims as Pau scored a powerful knockback that had the crowd roaring. After a flinch foul against Siekmann, Pau was granted another shot — landing clean for a TKO victory.

Heavyweight: Naimanbayev vs. Jones

Naimanbayev dropped Jones with a massive slap, but the celebration was cut short after a clubbing foul led to a disqualification. Jones took the win by DQ in a chaotic exchange.

Women’s Flyweight: Brown vs. Dempster

A tough battle for both women saw Dempster controlling early with sharp, snappy shots. Brown fired back but drew multiple fouls, resulting in a DQ victory for Dempster.

Light Heavyweight: Siminds vs. Klingbeil

The final prelim brought fireworks. Siminds landed first and dazed Klingbeil, earning a foul for clubbing in the process. Klingbeil answered with a near-knockout in the opening round, then closed the show in Round 2 with a clean slap for a KO victory.
